The "Alzstream" webinar presented June 5th of Global Stem Cell Consortium is ready for viewing.
On Wednesday, June 5 we hosted a live-streamed webinar about employing stem cells to help uncover the cure for Alzheimer’s disease.
Sam Gandy, M.D., Ph.D., of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, a member of Cure Alzheimer's Fund Research Consortium and head of Cure Alzheimer's Fund Stem Sell Consortium; Scott Noggle, Ph.D., of the New York Stem Cell Foundation and member of the Stem Cell Consortium; and David Shenk, author of the national bestseller The Forgetting, Alzheimer's: Portrait of an Epidemic, led this "Alzstream," a live-streamed event about our new stem cell project.
The “Stem Cell Bank” created during this research will be available to researchers around the world, enhancing the ability of global scientific discovery to proceed at a more rapid pace.
