Mongol Musketeers

There are three necessities for undertaking a rally across 20,000 miles of tarmac, mountains, desert and steppe:

  • An intrepid and inquisitive companion, to share the joys and burdens of the journey.
  • A valiant steed (or car) to carry you along the way.
  • A noble cause to keep spurring you towards the finish line.

The Cure Alzheimer’s Fund is dear to both our hearts, having each lost grandparents to the disease, and we are both proud and hopeful in our support of it’s efforts. Over 100 years after Alzheimer’s initial discovery in 1906, advances in technology, medicine and public awareness are bringing us closer to a cure each day.

The long, winding road to understanding Alzheimer’s is finally beginning to blossom, yet much like our journey this Summer, the greatest challenges lie just before the finish line. We recognized this affinity between our expedition and the mission of the Alzheimer’s Research Fund. To this end, we offer our strength, tenacity and optimism as the Mongol Musketeers, and hope you will join our cause by supporting the Alzheimer’s Research Fund.

As our fellow adventurer, Sir Francis Drake, once said:

There must be a beginning of any great matter, but the continuing unto the end until it be thoroughly finished yields the true glory.

We thank you for you support and hope you will follow our progress on our website!
