Doris Robinson Harris

I always remember my mother’s smile. It was so loving, so kind, warm, and sincere. She was always the rock to so many, but especially to her family. In the final days of her life she had to be taken to the hospital where they discovered she had cancer over much of her body. As she laid in bed I held her hand crying. She had not uttered a recognizable word in years, but turned to as clear as a bell and said, “what’s wrong honey?”. But that was her in the last words of her life. Caring for others. She is the greatest person I have ever known!
