Lieutenant Blight of the Quincy, Mass. firefighters association has a personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease, as do many of his colleagues. In February of 2016, they decided to come together to raise money for research at O’Lindy’s bowling alley in Quincy. There was a huge turnout as firefighters, families, and friends gathered for an evening of fun and friendly competition, all to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. Together they raised $6,000 that year and the firefighters have held the same event at O’Lindy’s each February since. Thank you to Lieutenant Blight and his entire team!
