Alzheimer’s disease is not a normal part of the aging process.
It is the slow and unrelenting degradation of the brain.
Its victims lose their memories.
They are frightened when they do not recognize the person standing in front of them.
Terrified when they cannot identify where they are.
As the disease slowly consumes the brain, its victims forget to eat. And drink.
They can no longer care for themselves.
With continued destruction of the brain, the victim may have a heart attack. Or kidney failure. Or a stroke.
Alzheimer’s is a perverse disease that ravages the human spirit.
It is physically & emotionally painful.
And, Alzheimer’s disease is always fatal.
It must be stopped. The only way to stop Alzheimer’s disease is through research. Cure Alzheimer’s fund is dedicated to funding research and stopping this dreadful disease.
