Christian Lagares Linares

Doctoral Candidate, Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital


Christian Lagares Linares completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus. He then trained as a postbaccalaureate scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, in the laboratory of Dr. Anna Molofsky. His work centered on evaluating the impact of microglia on cortical remodeling during postnatal brain development. He is now a graduate student at the Harvard Ph.D. Program in Neuroscience and the laboratory of Dr. Maria Lehtinen, where he employs live imaging tools to track the evolution of inflammation at the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier.
