Barbara Duff of Higgins Lake, formerly of Warren, passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 86. Barbara, wife of Clifford C Duff for 65 years and mother to Jill Marcotte (Andrew) and Clifford J Duff (Laura) will be greatly missed by all including her grandchildren Joel Marcotte, and Gina, Jaclyn, and James Duff for her joking ways and unique singing style. She was born in 1935 on January 7th to Jean and Frank Panigay and grew up in Detroit with her sister (deceased) Nancy. She has left behind wonderful memories from her many summers at Higgins Lake and “snowbirding” with her husband and family in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She enjoyed creating and teaching art as a painter and her relaxed approach to painting leaves behind a sentimental treasure trove of images for her family to enjoy. Her sense of humor and social nature was an inspiration to friends, new and old. A family-only memorial service will take place at Higgins Lake, MI.
