Kaela S. Singleton, Ph.D.

Kaela S. Singleton joined Cure Alzheimer’s Fund in 2024 as the Director of Grants Management. Born in Texas but raised in Georgia, she completed her BSc in Neuroscience and Classical History and Culture from Agnes Scott College in 2014 and earned her PhD in Neuroscience from Georgetown University in 2020. Prior to joining CureAlz, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University investigating pediatric neurodegeneration and worked as a Campaign Manager, developing nonprofit program management and science communication skills. Thus far in her career, she’s earned several national honors and recognitions from National Geographic, Cell Press, and Forbes as a 30 Under 30 awardee.

Kaela is thrilled to join the CureAlz team and help with its mission to make bold bets and accelerate the research necessary to cure Alzheimer’s.
