Karen Chang, Ph.D.

Dr. Karen Chang is an Associate Professor at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.  She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, and completed her postdoctoral trainings at NINDS/NIH and Indiana University. Her lab is interested in understanding molecular mechanisms regulating synaptic development and function in normal neurons and in neurons containing disease-related mutations such as Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome.
