The Essex Platform Tennis Club had another Cure Alzheimer’s Fund paddle tennis fundraiser in April 2022. Players filled the courts again this year (16 players) and it was a HUGE success – in terms of great, fun, full of laughter paddle tennis AND in terms of excellent support of CAF, raising ~$1,500 for research.”Not bad for a couple of hours playing a game we all love to play!” said organizer Diana Fiske. ” And for a great cause….”
In 2019, sixteen ladies (12 members and 4 guests) had a FUN, sunny morning of paddle tennis at the Essex Platform Tennis Club to benefit CAF on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, and raised $1,232 for the cause. The morning began with an introduction about Cure Alzheimer’s Fund and the great work achieved thus far – and the hope for a cure to come via pure research grants to select scientists in the field. It’s exciting work!
