December 2024: Your Generosity

Dear Friend,

The holidays remind us of traditions and connections tying the past to the present. The stories I hear from our community remind me what a privilege it is to remember past holidays and make memories of new ones—a privilege we should all get to share.

As this year comes to a close, I am grateful to the many people who join Cure Alzheimer’s Fund in our commitment to achieving future holidays untouched by Alzheimer’s disease. Getting closer to this goal requires many people working together—the researchers choosing to dedicate their talents and energies to unraveling the disease’s mysteries; the patients and families participating in studies to teach us about the disease; and you and our entire community of donors, fueling our acceleration toward solutions through scientific research.

We cannot yet prevent or cure Alzheimer’s disease, but the remarkable discoveries of CureAlz-backed researchers got us closer in 2024, and will get us closer still in 2025. We celebrate this momentum while still pushing to get to our shared goal even faster.

If you already have made a contribution to CureAlz this year, please accept my gratitude for your generosity and the trust you have placed in us. If you have not yet given, please consider renewing your support.

Warmest wishes for the holidays,

Meg Smith
