I started Hammy Rel13f Fund as a non-profit organization. The golf tournament in 2021 was the first event for our group, and we raised $11,000 for Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. Our organization’s goal is to raise money each year for an established not-for-profit group we feel is most worthy. I chose CureAlz Fund this year in memory of my great grandfather who passed away a few years ago (would have been 100 last Saturday). My family was directly affected by this horrible disease and I saw firsthand the pain it can cause not only the patient but their friends and family.
I created a board of directors including myself along with 2 close friends, my brother and cousin. Together we would like to not only hold an annual golf tournament but contribute in our communities throughout the year in many different ways. We are all 26 years old or younger and we are hoping to engage our younger friends and family in giving back.
