Kerri, a Critical Care Nurse from Denver, CO, wrote a book of poems honoring her father, Dale Hart, his life and his battle with Alzheimer’s disease. “I never intended on writing a poem. Verses related to different family events “down-loaded” at night – a kind of post-event processing. Eventually, there was an entire poem which we placed with photos of my Dad and family, and then published into this small volume.” Kerri and her husband, Neil, were invited to participate in a book signing for Colorado authors in late 2022 where she sold out all her copies and directed all proceeds to CureAlz to help fund research moving us closer to an Alzheimer’s solution.
