Lita Prosperi

It is with great sadness that the family of Lita E. Prosperi announce her passing on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Born in Webster, MA, daughter of the late Frank and Eni Paoletti, Lita survived her loving husband, the late Alfred A. Prosperi; her sister Nelma (Phil) Tiberii, and her beloved brother, Duilio Paoletti, an MIA WWII soldier. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark (Suzanne) Prosperi, Nancy Lackner, and Julie Gardner (Walter Lang); grandchildren, Matthew (Kayla) Prosperi, Carla (Tom) Feldman, Michael Prosperi, David (Andrea) Lackner, Christopher Lackner and Ethan Lackner; and great-children, Chloe and Madison Prosperi. Lita devoted her life to loving and caring for everyone, especially her family. She loved her hometown in New England and the beach at Cape Cod. After retiring from Federated Investors, she worked at the Call Center for the BBB in Pittsburgh. She had many friends and was most recently a resident at Manor Care in Peters Twp., where she was a hand-holding friend to all. She will always be in our hearts. A celebration of Lita’s life will be held on what would have been her 88th birthday, Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Freedom Life Center Church located at: 268 Old Clairton Road. Pleasant Hills, PA 15236.
