Rebecca Devries has been knitting hats on her knitting loom to raise money for Alzheimer’s disease research in memory of her Oma Wilhelmina DeGraaf. Oma Willy was a retired Registered Nurse who was very kind and compassionate and would always find the good in everyone. Rebecca and her entire family (especially Opa Arthur DeGraaf) miss her immensely. She passed away April 4, 2016, after a 12 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease but faced each day with courage and dignity. Her family prays that a cure for Alzheimer’s will be found.
