Mariela Brundage was proud of her Cuban heritage and shared that with pride. She was an administrative assistant with the Miami-Dade County Police Department for over 33 years. A wife to Warren, and mother of Kathy and Kristy, Grammy to CJ, Presley and Stephen. She was also a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1981.
Mariela always made sure her lipstick was on, a Coach purse in hand, fancy high heels on her feet, wearing a Macy’s top, and a spritz of Estee Lauder Beautiful perfume. And then she was ready to go!
We have so many wonderful memories to cherish because of how very special she was. We will never forget someone who gave us so much to remember. We were truly blessed by her love, integrity, humor and everlasting friendship. Mariela’s life mattered, so let us speak her name and share her stories. That is how we can honor her.
