For the past 16 years Gregg and Bruce Johnson of Reading, Massachusetts, have held the annual DKJ Foundation Golf Tournament in memory of their father, David K. Johnson, who was diagnosed with progressive dementia at age 60. As always, the event was held at the Four Oaks Country Club in Dracut, Massachusetts, in August and drew both old and new friends, many of whom have been affected personally by the disease.
“Our mission is to raise money and awareness to cure Alzheimer’s and support families affected by the disease by providing resources and guidance throughout their journey,” said Gregg. They donated $25,000 to research.
