Cure Alzheimer’s Fund received spotlight attention in Naples, Fla., thanks to Dr. Rudy Tanzi, one of the nation’s top Alzheimer’s researchers and Cure Alzheimer’s Fund’s Research Consortium chairman. Tanzi spoke with WINK News to address the progress he’s made in his Alzheimer’s Genome Project™, a project that Cure Alzheimer’s Fund has strongly supported since 2005.

Tanzi’s interview on WINK News specified that Cure Alzheimer’s Fund’s goal is to not only cure the disease, but also to implement preventative measures to halt the disease before it begins.

“We can’t immunize against Alzheimer’s,” said Tanzi. “But, if we know who’s at risk and we know who is in trouble and we prevent it early enough, we can eradicate Alzheimer’s disease.”
