Cure Alzheimer’s Fund is pleased to salute Massachusetts General Hospital for placing number 1 in the current issue of U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Hospital” survey. While Cure Alzheimer’s Fund has supported more than 24 leading Alzheimer’s research institutions since its inception in 2004, Mass General has received almost $10 million in research grants from Cure Alzheimer’s Fund during that time. Emblematic of Mass General’s pre-eminence in multiple areas of care and research is the outstanding work being done by the MassGeneral Institute for Neurodegenerative Disease (MIND).  Featuring Dr. Rudy Tanzi , Chair of Cure Alzheimer’s Scientific Advisory Board, their laboratories have identified over 100 new candidate genes for providing increased risk for or protection against Alzheimer’s disease. These advances have been supported in large part through the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund’s exclusive underwriting of their Alzheimer’s Genome Project. Congratulations, Massachusetts General Hospital!
