In 2004, frustrated with the slow pace of progress against Alzheimer’s disease and insufficient funding needed to accelerate discoveries, Phyllis Rappaport, alongside Co-Founders Henry McCance and the late Jeff and Jacqui Morby, saw the need for a new approach to Alzheimer’s research and established Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. Our Founders applied their experience in venture capital and corporate startups to build an organization that invests in bold, high-potential research to accelerate progress, and end the disease.
