A new e-commerce website based in California, called Beautykind, is aiming to change the way consumers shop for beauty products. The idea is for women worldwide to shop for their cosmetics online and donate 5 percent of their purchase to a cause of choice, ultimately making every user a philanthropist. “Beautykind is going to raise the bar in terms of the way people shop online,” said Adil Wali, the company’s co-founder and chief technology officer.
