Still Alice is a New York Times bestselling novel by author Lisa Genova. The book follows Alice Howland, a Harvard professor who is diagnosed with young onset Alzheimer’s disease. While Alice once placed her worth and identity in her celebrated and respected academic life, now she must re-evaluate her relationship with her husband, her expectations of her children and her ideas about herself and her place in the world. Still Alice has been adapted as a major motion picture starring Julianne Moore, Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart, Kate Bosworth and Hunter Parrish, and was released in January 2015. Moore received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role.

The book has brought the reality of Alzheimer’s to life for more than a million readers. Now, Lisa would like to ask readers to contribute to Alzheimer’s research and make a difference in the search for a cure.

A message from the author

Through Still Alice, I hope you’ve gained a compassionate awareness for what it feels like to live with Alzheimer’s.  I also hope you’ll join me in putting that compassionate awareness into action. By making a donation to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, YOU can be part of the progress that will lead to the cure.

Please take a moment to donate here. Your donation can be made in memory or in honor of someone. We’ll be keeping track of the tally, so you can check on the total dollars raised by YOU, the Still Alice readers.

Thank you for taking the time to get involved, for turning your compassionate awareness into action.  Let’s see how amazingly generous and powerful this readership can be!

With gratitude,

Lisa Genova
