“During the seven years that my wife’s father and my father-in-law, Lorenzo Malanga, declined with Alzheimer’s disease, my family and I decided to raise funds and awareness for this terrible affliction. We joined forces with Cure Alzheimer’s Fund one year ago, holding our first event at my local coffee house. Our music trivia night had sixty attendees and raised $1,000.
During Covid times we could not hold a fundraiser in person so elected to host a raffle via Zoom. Friends and neighbors participated garnering over $2,500 for Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
We chose to volunteer for this organization as we truly believe in its mission and are so grateful that 100% of donations go directly to scientists and research.”
