Barbara Wilcutts Stabell, 80, born in Milford, Delaware in 1940, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2021.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Walter W. Stabell, Jr., their three sons, Walter III, Jeff (wife Kelly), and Robert as well as grandchildren Walt IV, Jackie, Morgan, Shannon, Alex, and Andrew. Barbara leaves behind a host of friends and colleagues who were forever touched by her caring and kindness.
Barbara grew up in Frederica, Delaware, later moving to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after marrying the love of her life, Walt Jr. The couple moved to the Seabrook, Texas area in 1971, where they have lived happily for over 50 years.
While Barbara enjoyed a fulfilling career at James Avery Jewelers for over 25 years, her true passions were family and friends. She enjoyed entertaining and was known as a gifted chef and gracious host by all who knew her. Barbara and Walt also shared a love for travel and enjoyed experiencing other regions, cuisines, and cultures.
