Linda L. Rhodes, age 78, formerly of Sayre, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the husband of the late Charles Michael Rhodes, who passed in 1996. Born in Sayre, Linda was the daughter of the late Betty Driscoll. Linda was also the sister of the late Celia Lenox of Maryland.
A 1964 graduate of Towanda High School. Linda had worked for the A & W Root Beer store in Wysox, PA, and Outwater GMC in Rome, PA.
Linda is survived by her son Paul A. Rhodes, who is the husband of MaryBeth (Pleva) Rhodes of Fleetwood. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Codi (Rhodes), wife of Daniel Lucidi and Hayden Rhodes; Other survivors are her three sisters, Donna Scheithauer, Towanda; Darla Morse, Towanda; and Maria McMahon, Montour Falls, NY—also, several nieces and nephews.
