Executive Vice President, Marketing and Communications
Stephanie Wasco is Executive Vice President, Marketing and Communications at Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. A strategic marketing and communications executive with more than 25 years of experience, Stephanie has built a career advancing organizations at the intersection of science, technology, and mission-driven work. At Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, she leads brand, marketing, and communications efforts in support of the organization’s mission to fund research with the highest probability of preventing, slowing, or reversing Alzheimer’s disease.
Prior to joining Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Stephanie served as Senior Vice President and Head of Communications for Advanced Markets at Biocon Biologics, where she built the biosimilar company’s brand presence across new markets. She previously served as Chief Communications Officer at The Jackson Laboratory, a global nonprofit biomedical research institution, where she advanced the organization’s thought leadership and visibility in genetics and genomics to the public, donors, and the research community.
Earlier in her career, Stephanie led internal communications for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems and spent more than a decade at PerkinElmer, where she held roles of increasing responsibility across marketing and communications, ultimately serving as Vice President of Corporate Communications. She began her marketing and communications career in the maritime nonprofit sector before leading internal communications at PanAmSat, a satellite communications company.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has received recognition for her communications leadership, including two National Public Relations Awards, the Dx Excellence in Marketing Award of Distinction from the Diagnostic Marketing Association, and an IABC Gold Quill Award of Excellence. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, where she graduated summa cum laude with Honors and Distinction and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
