John R. Dickson, M.D., Ph.D.

John Dickson is a neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and his research focuses on understanding how the tau protein, which accumulates a number of neurodegenerative disorders, contributes to disease. Dr. Dickson studied in the MD-PhD Program at Harvard Medical School prior to training in the Mass General Brigham Neurology Residency. He subsequently completed the Clinical Fellowship in Dementia at Massachusetts General Hospital.
