Dr. Sarah Naguib is a postdoctoral research associate in Dr. Li Gan’s lab at Weill Cornell Medicine since 2022. She received her Ph.D. in 2022 from Vanderbilt University under the mentorship of Dr. Tonia Rex where she studied early activation of endogenous antioxidant pathways in neurodegeneration in the context of glaucoma and traumatic optic neuropathy. Dr. Naguib graduated with honors in neuroscience from Kenyon College in 2017.
