(WELLESLEY HILLS, MA) — July 8, 2025 — In 2024, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, a nonprofit that funds research with the highest potential to prevent, slow or reverse Alzheimer’s disease, reached a significant milestone. For the first time in its history, the organization’s research program surpassed $30 million in support of an extraordinary range of promising science to benefit the Alzheimer’s community.
Cure Alzheimer’s Fund continues to honor the vision of its founders by working with a global network of leading scientists to explore bold ideas and make game-changing discoveries that bring the field closer to helping the millions of people impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
“Over the past two decades, our funded researchers have made remarkable strides in many areas of science—from genetics and biomarkers to neuroinflammation and the gut microbiome—all with the shared goal of bringing a better future to the Alzheimer’s community,” said Meg Smith, CEO of Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. “Thanks to the unwavering commitment and generosity of our Board, Trustees and incredible donor community, in 2024 we reached this new record of $30 million and—even more importantly—made vital progress in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.”
