Dr. Kai Schlepckow studied Biochemistry and completed his Ph.D. at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany with a focus on developing nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) methods for the study of protein folding. He then received postdoctoral training at the same institute investigating the molecular mechanism of prion protein oligomerization. As a senior postdoc in the group of Christian Haass at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) in Munich, Germany he now devotes his time to the development of therapeutic anti-TREM2 antibodies.
