2024 Jog Your Memory 5K

“Cure Alzheimer’s Fund supports the world’s top research teams, pursuing bold, breakthrough ideas that are getting results and making headlines,” said Jess Rice, Jog Your Memory Co-Founder.

The streets of Needham will come alive with runners and walkers united in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. The 2024 Jog Your Memory 5K is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of hope, resilience, and the power of community.

In 2014, Jess and Bob Rice of Needham, Massachusetts, founded Jog Your Memory 5K Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to raising funds for Alzheimer’s research through an annual USA Track and Field-certified 5K run and 1.5-mile walk. Inspired by the strength Jess’s mother, Carol Caley, displayed after her early-onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis in 2007, both the Caley and Rice families were driven to raise money to help find a cure.

For more than a decade, the race has brought the community together for a 5K run through the town of Needham.  A virtual option was recently introduced, allowing participants worldwide to join in. The event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Alzheimer’s research with the goal of finding a cure.
