We are proud to announce the launch of our new Women and Alzheimer’s website. The site provides information about the impact of the disease on women, the scientific discoveries being made through funding by CureAlz regarding Alzheimer’s disease and women, and highlights the remarkable women working towards a cure.

Congratulations to Our New CFO and EVP Research Management
Jo Antonellis has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer for Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. Jo joined CureAlz in 2021 as Controller, bringing more than 25 years of diverse accounting experience to her position. She has held various controller positions for the last 10 years with oversight for accounting operations and human resource functions, and started her career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen and earned her CPA. Jo received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University.
Julie Harris, Ph.D. has been promoted to Executive Vice President Research Management after joining CureAlz in May of 2023 as the Vice President Research Management. Julie was previously the Vice President of Preclinical Biology at Cajal Neuroscience, a biotech startup focused on identifying novel therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. Prior to joining Cajal, Julie spent 10 years at the Allen Institute for Brain Science where she was the Associate Director of Neuroanatomy. Julie received a B.S. in Zoology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Behavior from the University of Washington. She trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the Gladstone Institute for Neurological Disease in San Francisco, CA.
