Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer

Singer, songwriter and Broadway actress Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer started the charitable foundation Creative Minds Care with the simple desire to live in a world without Alzheimer’s disease. Inspired by her grandmother, who had the disease, Yvette established her foundation to raise awareness and donations to fund Alzheimer’s research.

Creative Minds Care, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a collective of artistic individuals that are dedicated to forging positive change in the world and finding solutions for various causes, one of which is having a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease.  In addition to working closely with Cure Alzheimer’s Fund to raise money for research, Creative Minds Care has recently launched the CMC Neuroscience Scholarships for the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Prior partnerships have included joining forces with Justice Rising to build Creative Minds Academy, as well as campaigns and events for P.S. Kitchen and Share Hope.  CMC is steadfast on their mission to live in a world without neurodegenerative diseases through the promotion of brain health and the advancement of research.

In 2020, Creative Minds Care partnered with Cure Alzheimer’s Fund and donated $50,000 to further research in the area of neuroplasticity, and more specifically, neurogenesis.

In 2021, CMC donated another $50,000 to further Alzheimer’s research with a focus on finding pre-disease biomarkers using artificial intelligence.
