Gabriella M. (Ballerini) Tedesco, 84, formerly of Bloomington, Illinois, passed away on May 28, 2026, in Lansdale, PA.
Gay attended Saint Paul Cathedral High School in Pittsburgh, PA, while working at Isaly’s (home of the original Klondike bar). She graduated in 1959 and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, where she was one of only eight women to graduate in 1963.
Gay was employed as a pharmacist for many years in several locations, retiring from Illinois State University Student Health Services in 2003. She and her husband, Tony, were then able to enjoy eight years of cruises with friends, visits to family, and relaxation before his passing in 2011.
In addition to her husband, Gay was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Clora Ballerini. Surviving are her son, John Tedesco (Diana) of Florida and Portugal; her daughter, Katherine Bevington (Todd) of Blue Bell, PA; three grandsons, Nicholas and Lucas Tedesco, and Juan Sebastian Olarte; and two great-grandsons. She will be missed by many loving cousins and friends.
