Peggy was born on September 25, 1946, in Marion, Ohio. She met her husband, Steve Phillips while teaching a shorthand class at Ohio State University. Steve took the class to meet women… and clearly it worked! They were married on June 17, 1978.
She worked for several years as the office manager for the Junior League of Collin County before retiring in 2014.
Peggy loved shopping, college basketball, the singer Rick Nelson, all things Italian & white wine. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Steve Phillips of Plano, TX, and her only daughter, Amanda Phillips of Tampa, FL.
