He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of TaxJar, a sales tax automation platform for e-commerce businesses. Under his leadership from 2013 to 2021, TaxJar grew into a market leader and was acquired by Stripe in what was then the company’s largest acquisition. In 2019, Mark was recognized as the #1 CEO in America for Small-to-Mid-Sized Businesses in a survey of over 50,000 companies.
Following TaxJar’s acquisition, Mark has devoted his time to mentoring entrepreneurs and fostering innovation in the business community. His commitment to Cure Alzheimer’s Funds holds personal significance after the passing of his father, Frank, to Alzheimer’s disease in 2021.
