Andrew Yang, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, The J. David Gladstone Institutes and the University of California, San Francisco

Andrew is a Sandler Faculty Fellow at UCSF in the Bakar Aging Research Institute and Department of Anatomy. His lab develops new molecular approaches to decode the meaning, mechanisms, and therapeutic relevance of crosstalk between the brain and body. They use a combination of chemical biology, single-cell, and functional approaches to interrogate vascular and immune contributions to brain health, aging, and neurodegeneration.
