Kenneth Pearce, Ph.D.

Professor within the Center for Integrative Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery in the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and Director of the Lead Discovery and Characterization


Kenneth Pearce is a Professor within the Center for Integrative Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery in the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and Director of the Lead Discovery and Characterization. Before joining UNC, Dr. Pearce worked at Genetech and GSK for over 20 years. His work on phage display and nuclear receptors have contributed significantly to both basic science and drug discovery in multiple therapeutic areas. His primary interest and expertise at UNC is application of various methods for conducting early drug and chemical probe discovery research.
