Associate Professor, NYU Grossman School of Medicine
Research Scientist, Nathan Kline Institute
Dr. Ricardo S. Osorio is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Radiology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he directs the Brain Aging and Sleep Center and the Biomarker Core of the NYU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC). He is also the Director of the Nathan Kline Institute Sleep Lab. His work bridges sleep medicine, neuroimaging, and biomarker discovery to uncover how disrupted sleep and vascular health accelerate Alzheimer’s pathology. Combining sleep EEG, plasma and CSF profiling, and advanced PET imaging, Dr. Osorio’s research aims to transform early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease through mechanistic, precision medicine approaches.
