Assistant Professor, NYU Grossman School of Medicine
Research Scientist, Nathan Kline Institute
Dr. Christos Lisgaras is a Research Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator of the Laboratory of Brain Oscillations and Advanced Therapeutics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the Nathan Kline Institute. His work bridges basic and clinical electrophysiology to develop novel EEG biomarkers and therapeutic strategies for psychiatric co-morbidities and memory deficits across brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and epilepsy. His lab integrates preclinical models and human EEG data to investigate the role of ultra-fast brain oscillations as novel biomarkers and breakthrough targets for precision modulation in AD and epilepsy.
