Bruno Giordani, Ph.D.

Dr. Bruno Giordani is the Associate Director of the Michigan Alzheimer’s Disease Core Center and Co-Lead for the Administrative and Clinical Cores. His academic appointments are as a tenured Professor in the departments of Psychiatry, Neurology, and Psychology and the School of Nursing. He is the Chief Psychologist for the Department of Psychiatry and the Senior Director for the Mary A. Rackham Institute in the University of Michigan Rackham Graduate School.

His research includes neuropsychological, electrophysiological, and imaging approaches to early assessment of cognitive change in cross-cultural and low resource settings and approaches to improving behavioral and cognitive declines in aging and illness.

He is Fellow of the American Psychological Association Division 12, Society of Clinical Psychology, and Division 40, Neuropsychology.  He received the Distinguished Faculty Governance Award from the University of Michigan and the Ruth Michelbaugh Lifetime Achievement Award from the Alzheimer’s Association, Great Lakes Chapter.
