Carolyn Ann Galante, age 80, of Tavares, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was born on May 30, 1945, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, and moved to Florida in 1977 from West Virginia. Carolyn dedicated her life to caring for others as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. She was a devoted member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis, Florida.
Outside of her professional and spiritual life, Carolyn enjoyed reading mystery novels, watching mystery shows, solving puzzles, and computer gaming. She had a deep love for cats and was an enthusiastic fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas Galante of Tavares, Florida, and her brother, Larry Valenti. Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kristie White. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s research, a cause close to Carolyn’s heart.
