WASHINGTON –Joining as the newest member of the Founding Board for the Women Against Alzheimer’s Network is Senior Vice President of Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Sally Rosenfield.

Bringing together women from across the country who are leading the way in Alzheimer’s research, the Women Against Alzheimer’s Founding Network focuses on “harness[ing] the power of women” to build an “aggressive plan to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s disease.”

“I am honored by this position and greatly look forward to working with this team of great thinkers and innovators,” said Rosenfield.

The Network will be advocating for significant resources from the government for Alzheimer’s disease research, and for educating the general public about the scope of Alzheimer’s disease.

Rosenfield will join the Women Against Alzheimer’s board members on May 20 and 21 of this year in Washington, D.C., for their annual Leadership Summit.

The Cure Alzheimer’s Fund is dedicated to targeting breakthrough research designed to stop Alzheimer’s disease before it strikes through early detection and prevention. Sally Rosenfield joined Cure Alzheimer’s in May 2011.
