William (Bill) J. Haddow, age 77 of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away surrounded by family on Monday, November 10, 2025, in Wisconsin Rapids.
As per Bill’s request, no services will be held. His family will hold a private dinner as a celebration of his life.
Bill was born on January 22, 1948, to William (Willie) and Joyce (Reichert) Haddow in LaCrosse, WI. He married Margaret (Peggy) Loomis on December 9, 1967, at St Patrick ‘s Catholic Church in Onalaska, WI. Bill graduated from Central High School in LaCrosse, WI. He held numerous positions during his career and retired from Northland Cranberries as the Vice President of Purchasing and Transportation. In his spare time Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman. His favorite sport was golfing. He and Peggy spent almost all their vacations and spare time seeing who could get the most rounds in. When not golfing, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Bill was extremely fortunate to have deep and lasting friendships that brought so much joy to his life. He traveled to places he never expected to see and hunted at some amazing locales with friends that were irreplaceable.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Peggy; children, Christy (Brad) Tyjeski, Bill Haddow; grandchildren, Cole Allar, Megan (Mitch) Alft, Nathan Haddow, Natalee Haddow; great-grandchildren, Carina and Fletcher Alft; brother Chet (Karen) Reichert and beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Bill’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Croix Hospice and the special staff at Waterford that went above and beyond. Bill’s family also want to thank their amazing friends who understood this difficult disease and stood by them during the difficult years. Their understanding and effort will never be forgotten.
