Jacqueline C. Morby

Jacqueline C. Morby is a Senior Adviser of TA Associates, a private equity firm. She joined TA Associates in 1978, became a Managing Director in 1982, and served on the firm’s four-member Executive Committee from 1988 to 2001. She retired from active investing in 2003 but continues to serve as Senior Adviser of the firm. Formed in 1968, TA Associates, operating from offices in Boston, Menlo Park, London, Mumbai, and Hong Kong, manages $13 billion of private equity growth capital. The firm invests in a wide variety of technology and service industries.

Mrs. Morby graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and from the Simmons Graduate Management School with an M.B.A. She has served as a Director of the following public companies: ANSYS Inc., Axent Technologies Inc., Axioma, Inc., BMC Software Inc., Boron, LePore & Associates Inc., Ontrack Computer Systems Inc., Smith-Gardner & Associates Inc., System Software Associates, Sierra On-Line, Inc., and AI Corporation, as well as Pacific Life Corporation.

Mrs. Morby serves on the Board of Trustees of the NPR Foundation and on the Boards of Directors of Lead Pittsburgh and Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. She is a member of the Council of the World Wildlife Fund and the International Women’s Forum, as well as a former member of the Board of Trustees for Simmons College, the Andy Warhol Museum, and the Carnegie Museum.
