Ksenia Kastanenka, Ph.D.

Dr. Ksenia Kastanenka is an Assistant Professor at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where she runs a research laboratory with emphasis on neurodegeneration and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Kastanenka received her Ph.D. in Neurosciences from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed her post-doctoral training in the Alzheimer’s field at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard. Currently, her laboratory focuses on circuitry disruptions during the disease progression and mechanisms of action of Alzheimer’s therapeutics.
