Srdjan D. Antic, M.D.

Associate Professor of Neuroscience, University of Connecticut Health Center

Dr. Antic graduated from the School of Medicine Belgrade University, Serbia, and worked at Yale University with Dejan Zecevic and then with Patricia Goldman-Rakic before receiving his first NIH grant in 2001. In 2004, Dr. Antic  joined the Department of Neuroscience, University of Connecticut Health, Farmington, CT, where he currently an Associate Professor. Dr. Antic is interested in dendritic excitability, synaptic integration, and how these two are affected by neuromodulators such as dopamine. He is working on the development of the voltage imaging methods with voltage-sensitive dyes and/or genetically-encoded voltage indicators.
