Dr. Kautz is an assistant professor at the Glenn Biggs Institute at UT Health San Antonio. Her research focuses upon the identification and validation of fluid-based biomarkers for earlier identification of Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative diseases. She also serves as the creator and director of the Biggs Biobank, a comprehensive repository of biofluids from a variety of neurodegenerative disorders as well as cognitively healthy controls.
