Please join us in congratulating Alan Arnette on his summit of Aconcogua, the second climb in his quest to reach the highest peak on each continent while raising awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and funds to support research for a cure.
Alan was alo featured today in an impressive story in The Denver Post and is quoted:
“I’m not climbing for myself now, if I never sleep in my sleeping bag with the wind blowing at 50 degrees below zero again I’d be happy, but this is for a different cause. This is for my mom and her two sisters who died of Alzheimer’s. It’s about those 5 million families, for the caregivers who need a lot more support out there.”
