Steven C. Seyer, 81, of South Whitehall Township, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospice on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was the husband of Dr. Patricia A. (Forschner) Seyer to whom he was married for 56 years in June. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stephen J. and Henrietta (Gehringer) Seyer. He was a professor of Social Sciences at LCCC for 40 years. A graduate of Northampton High School, Muhlenberg College, and Lehigh University. He was actively involved in South Whitehall Township serving on the Board of Commissioners for 12 years and the Planning Commission for 10 years. Steven enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his granddaughter, Jamie. He was an avid traveler who enjoyed traveling the world, especially to Germany.
